Toe Bled During Pedicure

"The poor can not wait"

"The poor can not wait," this expression of Pope John Paul II, has to seriously question the youth of America. We live in a continent with one hundred and seventy million human beings who survive below the poverty line, destitute. They can not wait any longer for American college students complete their studies, to change the country. Because if they finish their studies, without having done anything for the poorest students in that period, never will.

will use their careers to enrich themselves, as is proved by the outrageous income distributions shows our continent.

More shocking still, is to know that an important part of university financing in Latin America, is funded with resources that belong to everyone, including the poorest. No studies are funded only by contributions paid by each student, for all Latin American states invest resources in training its professionals. So, are left to build more bridges, hospitals, schools and roads, to invest in professionals who are expected to lead the country out of poverty.

But what will these future professionals, they are young students were not involved never to poverty, they do not know the real issues of their countries, they live like tourists "first world" in their own country? Unfortunately we can not expect much from them, will be lost as the country with much sacrifice, they invested.

University of America: Do not let the poor are still waiting. We should make our troubles. It is not entangled in ideologies, be filled with inflammatory rhetoric, to put us bitter. It is involved with the poor, make ours their pains and hopes, they hear us always on their side. This is a serious study, not to conform to pass courses and get a degree.

must take the problems of reality to study, requiring teachers that apply to the realities of our countries, we must burn the tabs to understand the truth from error. We must find solutions that do not pay the poor, be suspicious of simple solutions and the enlightened promise solutions without sacrifice and without sacrificing them first.

not let the poor are still waiting somehow we have to take the matter into our hands: we have to take the continent. This will be possible to do, if and only if, we are serious about ourselves. If we are disciplined, consistent, simple and generous. If we are willing to give for an ideal. How many have tried to change the world and the world has come to change them? How many adults I say ironically, that they thought the same as us when they were young?

not waste any more time, there is much to do, the poor can not wait. Do not let the poor still waiting. Of us, our generosity, will depend how much will have to wait ...
